Welcome to the Annual Abominable Snow Race. It's hard to believe it has been 10 years since our first Winter Adventure. A lot has changed since 2016, and we believe all for the better. ASR is one of most unique obstacle adventures in the world and we are grateful to host this one-of-a-kind event right here in Lake Geneva, WI! All told, nearly 15,000 athletes have conquered ASR and you're about to join a very exclusive club. ASR is the perfect balance of family, fitness, and fun. We'll see you in January!

The Abominable Snow Race is the Midwest's premiere Winter adventure. A Winter Obstacle Race held at Lake Geneva Zipline & Adventure Park. Fun for the whole family (ages 4+). Run Just for Fun (5k or 10k), go for distance (20k Yeti's Challenge), or compete for cash and prizes (10k Elite/AG).
Choose from 4 Adventures!
Our 5k Expedition Course provides you with all the Winter Adventure without all the mileage. You'll conquer 15 of our winter themed obstacles nestled along a beautiful 5k trail run! This event is just for fun, no awards!
Our Adventure Course provides you with a full Winter Adventure experience. 6+ miles of beautiful Wisconsin Trails and 25+ winter themed obstacles in Wisconsin's Winter will test your inner Yeti. This event is just for fun, no awards!
1 Lap not enough? Yeti challenges you to complete 2 laps of our adventure course. Your abominable 2-lap effort is rewarded with 3 medals, including our coveted 4" Yeti Nation Medal. This event is just for fun, no rewards.
Do you race for the podium? Then this event is for you. You'll race for top spot in our first heat. Fastest Top 3 M/F on our 10k, 25+ obstacle Adventure course win a Cash Prize ($300|$200|$100). The rest of the field will fall into our Age Group awards. <20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50, 50+.

Our Signature Obstacle, the Polar Vortex, is as fun as it is challenging.
First you'll need to ascend a 15-foot slip wall. Once you reach the top, traverse the cargo net 25' across the road before descending down the other side.
It's going to be a wild ride—but it's one you'll want to take again and again!

This is a 20' long A-Frame that you must traverse across the floor. The catch? The floor is lava (yes there is lava in the middle of Winter)!
Once you're ready, use the ropes to climb up and start walking across the Apex Obstacle.
The goal is to get from one end of the A-Frame to the other without falling into the freezing lava below.
Stay focused, keep your feet up.

Summit's Peak
The Twisted Yeti Obstacle will put your forearms to the test as you twist a 40 pound wreck bag off the ground 10 ' into the air.
Once the bag reaches the top, return the bag to the ground with control.
Don't lose your grip or you'll be starting this obstacle over! It's time to get twisted!

This 30FT span of monkey bars will test your upper body strength as you make your way up and down ascending and descending bars. Hang on tight and keep your momentum going to get through.
Ring the bell and let out a big Yeti roar for you've just completed one of our toughest Yeti-Rated obstacles!
